Box Score LEWISTON, Maine – Maddie Hasson scored a game-high 25 points to power the top-ranked Bowdoin women's basketball team to a 65-49 win at Bates on Friday evening.
The Polar Bears remain unbeaten at 11-0 (1-0 NESCAC) and will head to Medford, Mass., to play at fourth-ranked Tufts on Saturday. The Bobcats fall to 4-5 (0-1 NESCAC) with the loss.

- After losing to the Polar Bears by 55 points in Brunswick just three weeks ago, the Bobcats were able to hang with Bowdoin for most of Friday night's contest.
- Bowdoin owned just a 14-12 lead after one quarter, but opened the second period on a 9-3 run to create some distance.
- A pair of buckets by Moira Train pushed the Bowdoin lead into double figures, 29-16, where it would stay for the remainder of the contest.

- Bates became the first team to out-rebound Bowdoin this year, owning a 46-41 edge on the glass.

- Maddie Hasson led all players with 25 points on 10-14 shooting from the field to go with ten rebounds.
