Box Score BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's basketball team never trailed in a 76-63 win over Trinity College on Friday evening in Morrell Gymnasium.
The top-ranked Polar Bears improve to 14-0 (3-0 NESCAC) while the Bantams fall to 11-3 (1-2 NESCAC).
Game Highlights
- Bowdoin scored the first seven points of the game and quickly built a double-digit lead thanks to seven early points from Maddie Hasson.
- The Polar Bears connected on 50% of their shots in the opening period and led 23-9 after the first ten minutes.
- The Bantams stayed within striking distance in the second quarter, as Allie Morin hit a pair of three-pointers. Bowdoin owned a 37-23 lead at the break.
- The Polar Bears put the game away in the third quarter, hitting on 11-18 from the field to push their advantage to 23 points, 61-38, entering the fourth quarter.
- Bowdoin pushed the lead to as many as 29 points in the final period before the Bantams made a late surge to close the final margin to 13.

- Maddie Hasson continued her hot play, scoring 23 points on 10-13 from the field while grabbing four rebounds, two steals and blocking one shot.
- Abby Kelly had 13 points while Taylor Choate added 11. Samantha Roy scored ten points with nine assists for the Polar Bears.
- Trinity's lone player in double digits was Erin Cunningham with 14.
- The Polar Bears connected on 50% of their shots in the game while Trinity ended at 48% thanks in great part to 69% shooting in the final quarter.
- Bowdoin scored 29 points off 23 Trinity turnovers in the victory.
