Women's Tennis Tops Redlands in Tuesday Matchup

REDLANDS, Calif. – The Bowdoin women's tennis team shuffled doubles pairings and came away with a 7-2 win at Redlands on Tuesday.

The seventh-ranked Polar Bears climb to 5-4. The Bulldogs drop to 6-6.

Match Highlights

  • Bowdoin changed doubles pairings against Redlands and picked up two points on the second and third courts. Maddie Rolph and Izzy Essi cruised to an 8-3 win at two. Tasha Christ and Viv Daniel went 8-2 at three.
  • Sasa Jovanovic cruised to a quick 6-1, 6-0 victory at six.
  • Tess Trinka and Essi both won 6-3, 6-3 at one and four.
  • Tasha Christ pulled off a victory in the second spot, winning her first set 6-4 before dropping the second. Christ won the tie-breaker 11-9.
  • Daniel picked up a point at number five, winning 7-5, 6-4.
