Women's Basketball Stays Unbeaten With 33-Point NESCAC Win Over Hamilton

CLINTON, NY – The Bowdoin College women's basketball team led by as many as 37 points in the second half of their 87-54 victory over Hamilton College Friday night.

The third-ranked Polar Bears remain unbeaten at 19-0 (5-0 NESCAC). The Continentals drop to 13-6 (1-4 NESCAC).

Game Highlights

  • Bowdoin got out to a 23-13 lead in the first quarter, with the help of four early steals and six points converted from Hamilton turnovers.
  • The Polar Bears began the second quarter on a 10-0 run, pushing their lead to 33-13.
  • Bowdoin was able to get their first half lead to 28 points, and entered halftime up 53-25.
  • Abby Kelly and Maddie Hasson led the way with 11 first half points and four rebounds each.
