BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's basketball team scored the first 27 points of the game on their way to a 102-29 win over the University of Maine-Presque Isle on Sunday afternoon in Morrell Gymnasium.

The third-ranked Polar Bears improve to 18-0 while Presque Isle falls to 2-12 on the season.

Game Highlights

• Bowdoin put the contest out of reach early, scoring the first 27 points of the game. Moira Train and Taylor Choate led the Polar Bears with eight and seven early points, respectively as Bowdoin led 30-2 after the first period.
• The Owls scored the first six points of the second quarter but Bowdoin was able to extend their lead to 42 points at halftime, 56-14 and kept rolling in the second half on their way to the win.

• All 14 Bowdoin players scored in the win as the Polar Bears connected on 55% of their shots for the game compared to 28% for the Owls.
• Abby Kelly scored a game-high 16 points in 15 minutes of action while the Polar Bears scored 46 points off 32 Presque Isle turnovers.
• Three other Polar Bears saw double digits, including 12 from Moira Train and ten apiece from Hannah Graham and Lauren Petit.
• Teagan Laweryson led the Owls with 12 points.
