BIDDEFORD, Maine – The Bowdoin women's soccer team scored a goal in each half to tally a 2-0 midweek win over the University of New England on Tuesday night.

The Polar Bears improve to 3-2-1 while dropping the Nor'Easters to 5-4-0.

Game Highlights

• Lynn Farquhar scored her first career goal for the Polar Bears in the 32nd minute. Morgen Gallagher set up the play with a cross to Farquhar. The first-year flipped the ball over Emily Ashman for the game's first goal.
• With less than five minutes to play in the first half, Avery Bond sent a shot off the crossbar.
• Bowdoin came out firing in the first ten minutes of the second half, forcing Ashman to make five saves.
• The Polar Bears added to their total off an Emily Pawlak goal with under five minutes to play, putting away a feed from Julia Patterson.
