NEW LONDON, Conn. - The Bowdoin College men's basketball team concluded its season on a high note with a 77-70 victory over Connecticut College on Saturday afternoon.

The Polar Bears end their year with a record of 12-11 (3-7 NESCAC) while the Camels end their year with a mark of 13-10 (3-7 NESCAC). Both teams failed to qualify for the NESCAC postseason.

• Bowdoin carried a 36-28 lead into halftime on the strength of hot shooting in the first half that included ten points from Jack Bors.
• Bowdoin also got eight first half points from Richard McAllister and seven from Liam Farley to hold their eight-point edge at the break.
• The second half was the Jack Simonds show for Bowdoin, as the NESCAC's third-leading scorer totaled all 23 of his points in the final twenty minutes to seal the win.

• Liam Farley pitched in a big 17-point effort off the bench for the Polar Bears, who held a 28-17 advantage in bench scoring.
