Box Score BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's basketball team outscored Wesleyan 17-5 in the fourth quarter to take a 58-43 victory on Friday evening at Morrell Gymnasium.
The win clinches the third seed in the upcoming NESCAC Tournament for the 20th-ranked Polar Bears (19-3, 7-2 NESCAC) who will host a quarterfinal on Saturday, Feb. 18. The Cardinals (7-14, 1-8 NESCAC) are eliminated from playoff contention with the loss.
