Men's Squash Falls to MIT In First Semester Finale

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Bowdoin College men's squash team lost a 9-0 decision to 21st-ranked MIT in its final match of the first semester on Saturday.

The Polar Bears, ranked 27th nationally, fall to 1-4 this season.

Match Highlights

  • The Polar Bears battled well despite the 9-0 final tally.
  • Only three of the matches were 3-0 sweeps with three matches going five and three more going four sets.
  • Ian Squiers (#1), Uday Khanna (#6) and Drew Clark (#7) came the closest to earning wins for Bowdoin, each falling in 3-2 decisions.

  • The Polar Bears will return to action with a trio of home matches the weekend of Jan. 12-14, opening with St. Lawrence on Friday evening. Match time is TBA.
