AMHERST, Mass. - The Bowdoin College women's volleyball team won its opener at the Hall of Fame Invitational, defeating Wheaton 3-0 in a match played at Amherst on Friday evening.

The Polar Bears improve to 12-7 with the victory.

Match Highlights

• Caroline Flaharty led Bowdoin with 14 kills and ten digs in the victory.
• Sydney Salle had seven kills and three blocks for Bowdoin while Michelle Albright had six kills and 15 digs.
• Kate Kiser sparked the offense with 37 assists while Lisa Sheldon added a team-high 19 digs.
