Box Score BANGOR, Maine – Brigit Bergin netted a hat trick, scoring the Bowdoin women's soccer team's three final goals, in a 6-0 win at Husson on Sunday afternoon.
The Polar Bears improve to 4-1 on the season and outscored their competitors 9-1 in a pair of weekend contests. The Eagles sit at 2-4 after the shutout.

- Sophia Lemmer put Bowdoin on the board 5:50 into the game with an unassisted tally.
- Julia Patterson and Kate Rusk-Kosa scored a pair of goals within a two-minute span to put the Polar Bears ahead 3-0 with 15 minutes remaining in the opening half.
- After notching an assist on Patterson's goal, Bergin scored her first of the night at 40:20 with a feed by Ivy Ricca.
- Bergin scored the final two goals of the game in the 73rd and 77th minutes. Julia Bottone set up the first while Kate Morrison received credit for the second assist.
- The Polar Bears dominated offensively with a 32-3 shot advantage and 14-0 edge in corner kicks.
- Rachel Stout started in net and made one stop, giving way to Anne Parrish and Sabrina Albanese who split the second half. Parrish had one save.
- Kayla Gordon started for the Eagles and tallied eight saves while allowing four goals before Angela Daigle stopped five shots and allowed two goals in the second half.
