MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - The Middlebury College volleyball team ran its winning streak to eight games with a 3-0 victory over Bowdoin on Friday evening.

The Panthers improve to 11-3 (4-1 NESCAC) while Bowdoin falls to 8-5 (2-4 NESCAC).

Match Highlights

• Despite the sweep, Bowdoin kept it close in all three sets, falling 25-21, 25-23, 25-22
• Bowdoin was paced by Caroline Flaharty's match-high 14 kills, while Erika Sklaver and Michelle Albright each tacked on seven
• Katie Doherty led the Polar Bears with 20 digs, while Quincy Leech tallied a match-best 32 assists to go along with 13 digs
• Sklaver and Clare Geyer posted three block assists apiece
