Men's Squash Blanks MIT in Final Home Match of Season

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's squash team rebounded from a Friday loss to Bates to defeat MIT, 9-0, on Saturday at the Lubin Center.

The Polar Bear men suffered a 7-2 loss to Bates in Lewiston on Friday with Alex Reisley (3-0) at #6 and Michael DeFranco (3-1) at #9 accounted for the Bowdoin points.

On Saturday against the Engineers, Bowdoin earned a resounding win to snap their losing streak by earning 3-0 sweep in every match. Matthew Cooper, Maxwell Bearse, Andrew Ward, Benjamin Bristol, Reisley, Cyrus Nassikas, George Cooley, Sam Ward and Henry Haig (default) all captured victories.

Bowdoin will begin play at the NESCAC Tournament on Friday at Williams College. Seedings will be announced this week.
