Box Score BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's volleyball team rolled to its 18th consecutive victory over Colby on Friday evening, 3-0, in a NESCAC match played in Morrell Gymnasium.
The Polar Bears, who claimed the match by game scores of 25-20, 25-12, 25-15, improved to 10-2 (2-1 NESCAC) and have not lost to the Mules since 2005. Colby falls to 7-4 (1-2 NESCAC) with the loss.
Erika Sklaver led the way for Bowdoin with eight kills and five blocks. Christy Jewett added five kills, three aces and seven digs while Quincy Leech dished out 18 assists for the Polar Bears.
Colby's Karolina Serhan led all players with nine kills. Sarah Arvidson had four kills and 11 digs while Emily Moslener posted 15 assists in the loss.
Bowdoin will return to action with a pair of matches in Keene, N.H. on Saturday - against Eastern Conn. at 2:00 p.m. and Keene State at 4:00 p.m. The Mules will look to bounce back tomorrow in Nashua, N.H. as they play Southern Vermont at 2:00 p.m. and Rivier at 4:00 p.m.
