Box Score WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Bowdoin College women's volleyball team rallied from a 2-1 deficit to take a dramatic 3-2 win over Williams on Saturday in their regular season finale.
The Polar Bears claimed the win by set scores of 18-25, 27-25, 19-25, 25-22, 15-11. Bowdoin never trailed in the decisive fifth set, closing the match on a 4-1 run to take the victory and improve to 20-7 (6-4 NESCAC). The Polar Bears secured the fifth seed for next weekend's NESCAC Championship Tournament and will play Middlebury in the first round on Friday at Tufts. Match time is set for 8:00 p.m.
Christy Jewett led Bowdoin with 15 kills on the day for Bowdoin. Erika Sklaver, Michelle Albright and Hailey Wahl added eight kills apiece. Katie Doherty had a team-best 17 digs while Quincy Leech added 15 digs to go with 23 assists. Sklaver and Jewett had four blocks each for the Polar Bears.
