WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Bowdoin College women's tennis team lost its second match to a top-10 team in as many days, falling in a 7-2 decision to Williams on Saturday. The 12th-ranked Polar Bears fall to 7-3 overall this spring with the loss.
Bowdoin got a doubles victory from Emily Lombardi and Emma Lewis at the #2 position, but trailed 2-1 heading into singles play. Kellen Alberstone took an impressive 6-4, 6-1 victory at number one singles, but the Polar Bears could get no closer than that.
The Polar Bears will return to action on April 14 at Colby. Match time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
