Polar Bears Bounce Hamilton For 14th Consecutive Victory

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Bowdoin College volleyball team extended its program-best winning streak to 14 matches with a 3-1 victory over Hamilton at Williams College on Saturday. The Polar Bears stand alone in first in the NESCAC with a record of 15-1 (6-0 NESCAC).

Bowdoin took the win by game scores of 25-18, 25-20, 23-25, 25-13.

Melissa Haskell led the way with a 13-kill, 8-dig, 4-block effort for the Polar Bears. Kristin Hanczor pitched in 11 kills and four blocks while Hillary Cederna notched nine kills. Sophia Cornew had 36 assists and three service aces while Taylor Vail led the squad with 13 digs.

The Polar Bears will host an exhibition match on Monday against the University of New Brunswick before returning to regular-season play Wednesday at home against Colby in the team's non-conference match.
