Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - The Bowdoin College women's volleyball team bounced back from Friday's loss to earn a pair of easy non-conference wins on Saturday at the Hall of Fame Tournament hosted at Smith College.

The 25th-ranked Polar Bears defeated Gordon 3-0 (25-13, 25-12, 25-15) and Brandeis 3-0 (25-9, 25-11, 25-23) to improve to 20-2 this fall. It is the fourth time in program history that the Polar Bears have reached 20 wins in a season and the first since 2006. Bowdoin is just two wins shy of tying the school record for single-season wins (22) set in 1988.

Taylor Vail, who notched 18 digs and two aces in the win over Brandeis, was the Polar Bears' selection to the All-Tournament team. Kristin Hanczor had 14 kills and Jillian Berkman added five aces in the win over the Judges. Against Gordon, Bowdoin received seven kills from Tory Edelman and six kills with three aces from Hillary Cederna.

The Polar Bears will return to action Tuesday evening as they celebrate Senior Night against Endicott College at 7:00 p.m.
