WATERVILLE, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's volleyball team
rallied from a two-set deficit to stun Colby on Wednesday night,
3-2. The Mules (4-7 overall) won 26-24 and 25-21 in the first two
sets, but Bowdoin (8-5) took the next three in 25-19, 25-21, and
15-10.
Luisa LaSalle led Bowdoin with 14 kills while Ellie
Brennan had 12 kills for the Polar Bears. Stephanie Bond added and
Margot Roux had 24 assists apiece, while Roux also chipped in four
service aces. Jillian
Berkman had 17 defensive digs.
Bowdoin will travel to Wesleyan University this weekend for a trio
of NESCAC matches.
