Women's Soccer Plays Colby to Scoreless Draw

WATERVILLE, Maine - Bowdoin College goaltender Kat Flaherty made three saves in her first shutout of the season as the Polar Bear women's soccer team played Colby to a scoreless draw on Tuesday evening. The Polar Bears, who have played four goals decided by a single goal or less, move to 2-1-1 (1-1-1 NESCAC) this season. Colby stands at 1-0-2 (0-0-3 NESCAC).

Jayde Bennett made four saves in the tie for Colby, earning her third shutout of the year. Bowdoin had a 21-9 advantage in shots, but Colby had a 10-7 margin in corner kicks.

Ellery Gould had a team-high seven shots for Bowdoin, while Kate Laxson and Mari Crommett l\ed the Mules with two shots apiece.

The Polar Bears will return to action on Saturday when they travel to play at Middlebury College.
