BEVERLY, Mass. - The Bowdoin College women's volleyball team
lost a hard-fought five-set battle at Endicott on Tuesday evening,
3-2 ((26-24, 19-25, 28-26, 24-26, 15-7). The Polar Bears drop to
16-10 with the loss while the Gulls improve to 18-14 overall.
Melissa Haskell notched a team-high 15 kills for the Polar Bears
to go with 13 digs and two aces. Hillary Cederna (13 kills) and
Kristin Hanczor (10 kills) also had strong nights for the Polar
Bears, who received five blocks from Stephanie Drumright and four
from Tori Edelman.
Defensively, the Polar Bears got 33 digs from Taylor Vail while
Sophia Cornew amassed 38 assists.
Bowdoin will close out their regular season at home Saturday with
a Senior Day twinbill against Emerson and Keene State beginning at
10:00 a.m.
