BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's volleyball team
enjoyed one of their finest performances of the season in an
impressive 3-0 sweep of Colby on Friday evening. With the win, the
Polar Bears improve to 12-6 overall and 2-2 in NESCAC play. The
Mules fall to 4-12 and 0-5 in the NESCAC with their eighth
consecutive loss.
Bowdoin's crisp victory took barely an hour by game scores of
25-16, 25-16 and 25-12.
Stephanie Drumright led the Polar Bear offense with 11 kills
against just one error. Melissa Haskell notched eight kills and
three aces while Jenna Diggs posted 27 assists, 13 digs and four
aces.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Saturday morning against
Bates (11:00 a.m.)
