Volleyball Nets Impressive Three-Set Victory Over Amherst

AMHERST, Mass. - The Bowdoin College volleyball team went on the road and earned a key NESCAC win over Amherst on Friday, 3-0. The Polar Bears dominated from start-to-finish in the 25-23, 25-22, 25-15 victory. Bowdoin improves to 19-9 (5-4 NESCAC) and will play Trinity in their regular season finale on Saturday with playing positioning on the line.

The Polar Bears totaled 22 blocks on the night as a team, led by seven from Kristin Hanczor. Gillian Page collected 11 kills and 14 digs while Stephanie Drumright totaled eight kills. Kelsey Howe posted seven kills and five blocks for the Polar Bears while Jenna Diggs (17 assists) and Stephanie Bond (14 assists) paced the Bowdoin offense. Jillian Berkman led the squad defensively with 21 digs.
