HARTFORD, Conn. - The Bowdoin College women's soccer team
suffered their third 1-0 setback of the season, dropping on the
road at Trinity on Saturday afternoon. Trinity improves to 5-4-3
overall and 3-3-2 in the league, while the Polar Bears drop to 7-6
overall and 3-5 in the league.
The lone goal of the game came on a Bantam penalty shot early in
the second half. Bantam sophomore Jenny Ley garnered a foul in the
box, which gave Lauren Olsen a penalty shot which was converted for
the game's only score.
Sophomore goalkeeper Lily Pepper made 12 saves to earn the her
fourth shutout, while Kat Flaherty made 13 saves for the Polar
Bears.
