BRUNSWICK, Maine - The third-ranked Williams College women's soccer
team scored three times in the first 18 minutes to take an eventual
4-0 win over Bowdoin on Saturday. The Ephs improve to 11-0-0 (7-0-0
NESCAC) this season while the Polar Bears fall to 6-5-0 (3-4-0
NESCAC).
Brett Eisenhart wasted little time getting Williams on the
scoreboard, notching the game's first goal just 26 seconds into the
contest. Annelise Snyder, who assisted on the game-opening tally,
scored a pair of goals less than seven minutes apart, at 11:10 and
17:48, to push the advantage to 3-0 at the break. Samantha Vilboa
added a second-half score for the visitors to round out the
day.
Kat Flaherty made nine stops in net for the Polar Bears, while
Julia Schreiber made three saves in the shutout for Williams.
