MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - The Bowdoin College women's volleyball team picked up a key NESCAC victory on Friday night in straight-sets against Hamilton, 3-0. The Polar Bears improve to 15-6 (4-2) and move into a tie for fifth place in the conference heading into a twinbill Saturday at Middlebury.

The Polar Bears edged Hamilton 25-22, 25-23 in the first two sets before dismantling the Continentals 25-6 in the final set. Bowdoin notched a season-high 22 kills as a team in the victory.

Gillian Page led Bowdoin with eight kills and six aces while Melissa Haskell and Victoria Edelman pitched in five kills apiece. Stephanie Bond had a team-high 10 assists while Jillian Berkman collected 15 digs.
