BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin's Stephanie Drumright posted her
second-straight game in double-digit kills, leading the way with 11
and six blocks to pace the Polar Bears in a 3-1 win over Bates on
Saturday at Morrell Gymnasium. Bowdoin improves to 13-6 (3-2 in
NESCAC) while the Bobcats fall to 9-6 (0-6 NESCAC).
After the teams split a pair of tighly-matched sets to open the
contest, Bowdoin took control over the final two to clinch the
25-20, 23-25, 25-11, 25-18 win.
Drumright led Bowdoin with 11 kills while Melissa Haskell, Kristin
Hanczoe and Gillian Page notched nine apiece. Haskell also had four
aces while Jenna Diggs dished out 37 assists and three aces.
Jillian Berkman led Bowdoin defensively with 19 digs.
