BEVERLY, Mass. - The third time proved to be the charm for the
Bowdoin College volleyball team on Wednesday, as the Polar Bears
defeated Endicott College 3-0 in the third match of the year
between the squads. With the win, Bowdoin (16-14) avenges a pair of
early-season losses to the Gulls (19-14).
Bowdoin cruised to the victory behind game scores of 25-16,
25-19 and 25-16 and totalled an impressive 16 aces on the night.
Gillian Page led the way with eight kills, six aces and eight digs.
Skye Lawrence had a strong night at the Polar Bear net, connecting
on nine kills on 24 swings with just one error. Stephanie Drumright
also had eight kills while Jenna Diggs handed out 22 assists.

The Polar Bears will close out their regular season this weekend
at a NESCAC meet hosted by Colby. Bowdoin will battle for playoff
positioning with a match against Middlebury on Friday evening and a
pair of Saturday matches against Williams and Colby.
The NESCAC Tournament begins Friday, November 7.
