SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. - The Bowdoin College women's volleyball
team fell to Springfield College, 3-1, in the opening round of the
Hall of Fame Tournament on Friday evening. The Pride held off the
Polar Bears by game scores of 25-14, 25-14, 23-25, 25-12.
Gillian Page led the Polar Bears with 12 kills and 13 digs while
Anna Noucas collected a team-high 18 digs. Kelsey Howe, Skye
Lawrence and Stephanie Drumright posted six kills apiece with Jenna
Diggs contributing 31 assists on the night.
The Polar Bears will face Brandeis at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in their
second match of the tournament and will play an additional game on
Saturday afternoon to close out the weekend.
