Volleyball Drops Two on Final Day of Western Swing

HAYWARD, Calif. - The Bowdoin College volleyball team dropped a pair of matches on the second day of the Wild West Invitational to round out their west coast trip. The Polar Bears fell 3-0 to ninth-ranked Cal State-East Bay before falling to Mt. St. Joseph's, 3-1.

Against East Bay, Bowdoin dropped a 25-17, 25-16, 25-21 decision. Gillian Page had nine kills and 17 digs for Bowdoin, who received 23 digs from Jillian Berkman and 20 digs and three aces from Skye Lawrence. Jenna Diggs had 19 assists.

The Polar Bears rounded out the tournament with a loss to Mt. St. Joseph, 25-12, 22-25, 25-18, 25-16. Page again led Bowdoin with nine kills and four solo blocks while Diggs earned 30 assists and 18 digs.
