BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's soccer team (13-2-2)
has qualified for the NCAA Tournament and earned a first-round bye
in selections announced on Sunday night. The Polar Bears will play
in a regional hosted by St. Lawrence University and will face the
winner of Wednesday's Wheaton (Mass.) and CCNY contest.
The two second-round contests will be played on Saturday,
November 15 at 1:30, with the winners meeting on Sunday at 1:00.
Bowdoin earned an at-large berth to the tournament thanks to a
13-2-2 regular season mark and a runner-up finish in the NESCAC
Tournament. The Polar Bears have twice reached the NCAA Tournament,
