BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College field hockey team is
ranked 12th in the latest national poll released by the National
Field Hockey Coaches Association on Tuesday. The Polar Bears (10-2)
have won six straight games and have clinched a first-round home
game in the NESCAC Tournament which begins on Sunday, November
2.
In addition, senior midfielder Amanda Burrage (Brookline, Mass.)
has been selected by the NFHCA for their annual North/South Senior
All-Star Game. Burrage, an All-American last season, has two goals
and five assists this season. This year's Division III North/South
Senior All-Star Game will be held on Saturday, November 22nd at
10:00 a.m. on the campus of Lebanon Valley College.
