Bowdoin College

Shukie begins his seventh season with the Polar Bears and willcoach the quarterbacks this fall. Most recently the coach of thewide receiver corps at Bowdoin, Shukie led a unit that accumulateda school-record 2,394 yards in 2009 and averaged over 200 yards pergame again in 2010.

He came to Bowdoin following stints at Johns Hopkins andKing’s College. A 2005 graduate of Johns Hopkins,Shukie’s playing career was cut short due to injuries, but hetook up assistant coaching duties for the Blue Jays, who capturedthree Centennial Conference Championships during his tenure. A native of West Hartford, Connecticut, Shukie’s olderbrother John ‘99 played football for Bowdoin.

Shukie resides in Topsham with his wife Molly.
