Shannon Malloy

Shannon Malloy, a 2011 graduate of Bowdoin, rejoined thePolar Bears as assistant coach of field hockey in the summer of2013.

Malloy returns to Bowdoin after serving as an assistant fieldhockey and lacrosse coach at Trinity (Conn.) College the last twoyears while earning her master's degree in Public Policy. AtTrinity, she helped coach the Bantam field hockey team toconsecutive 11-win seasons. In lacrosse, she assisted in Trinity'sback-to-back "Final Four" squads, including the 2012 NCAAChampionship team.

A decorated athlete as a Polar Bear, Malloy graduated from Bowdoinwith a degree in art history in 2011. She was a member of all threeof Bowdoin's NCAA Championship teams ('07, '08, '10) and was aco-captain of the 2010 team, earning All-NESCAC and All-New Englandhonors as a defender. She was also an Academic All-NESCAC and NFHCAAcademic All-American during her time in Brunswick.

Malloy is a native of West Lebanon, N.H. and graduated fromLebanon High School.
