Bowdoin College

Bowdoin assistant coach Erin Summers hails from Stilwell, Kansas and has a 17-year playing background in the sport of volleyball. A three-year varsity letter-winner in three different sports in high school, she attended Truman State University in Missouri and received a Master's Degree in Marine Biology from the Boston University Marine Program.

Summers has coached at both the youth and collegiate level in her career. She has coached Junior Olympic teams in North Carolina and in Maine. She returns to Bowdoin after being an assistant coach for the Polar Bears from 2006-11, helping lead the team to their first NESCAC Championship in 2011.
