2013-14 Men's Swimming and Diving
Biography
Alex enthusiastically swims any and all distance freestyle races: the 500, 1000, and 1650. In addition to swimming, Alex is incredibly active on campus, as he is the founder of Bowdoin Green Athletics and is also a Residential Life Proctor for first-years. Alex does extensive work with students with special needs through Bear Buddies, a student volunteer group, as well as Friday pool sessions, designed for autistic children from the local community. Little known fact about Alex: He is a Bowdoin legacy, as his mother graduated from the College in 1985.
