Welcome to Bowdoin College and Watson Arena!  

 
What time do the doors open? 
Doors open one hour prior to puck drop. The game starts at 7 pm; doors open at 6 pm.  

Where can I park? 
Public parking is available anywhere on campus, including in the lot adjacent to the Arena. Detailed information on parking and directions to the venue can be found here.  

Will there be a public standby line for this game? 
Yes. There will be a first-come, first-serve standby line for non-student fans who were not able to secure a game ticket through public distribution. 

Can I re-enter Watson Arena after scanning my ticket for initial entry? 
Yes, please make sure you get your hand stamped prior to exiting the main doors. 

Is food available in Watson Arena? 
Concessions will be sold on the east side of the main concourse starting when doors open. There will also be free pre-game bites outside of Watson Arena by local food trucks Pinky D's Poutine and Fred's Fried Dough at 6:00 p.m., and rally towels for all fans at the game.  

Where are bathrooms located in Watson Arena? 
Bathrooms are located on the lobby level of the venue.  

Is the venue ADA accessible? 
Yes. There is an elevator located at the lobby level. Accessible seating is located in each corner of the concourse. 

Are dogs allowed in Watson Arena? 
Dogs and other pets are not permitted inside Watson Arena, with the exception of service animals. Dogs and other pets are permitted at outdoor facilities but are required to be leashed at all times. Bowdoin's campus pet policy is available here.   

NESCAC code of conduct: The NESCAC and the NCAA promote good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches, and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial, sexist, homophobic, or other derogatory comments, or other intimidating action directed at officials, spectators, student-athletes, coaches or team representatives will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition. Also, the consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited at the site of competitions.  
 
The following generally accepted guidelines have been established for guest behavior to support fan friendly environment suitable for all ages, free from the following behaviors:  

  • Standing on seats or sitting in aisle ways 
  • Fighting, horseplay, excessive taunting or threatening remarks or gestures 
  • Throwing objects 
  • Any disruption to the progress of the event by guests' actions, including interference with the competition on the ice. 
  • Non-compliance with requests from college staff, security or police regarding operations or emergency response procedures.  
  • Vandalizing, damaging or otherwise defacing any part of any Bowdoin facilities. 
  • Attempting to enter the field/area of competition or to cause objects to enter the field/area of competition. 

Additionally,  

  • Individuals requiring ADA seating should be given priority of all accessible seating, including companion seats.  
  • Disruptive behavior, including foul or abusive language, obscene gestures, or use of derogatory language will not be tolerated. Any type of derogatory language should be reported immediately to a college official.  
    • *Derogatory language means offensive language concerning another person's race, color, ethnicity, sex, gender, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or national origin.  
  • Bowdoin is a smoke free campus; please refrain from smoking.
