CLINTON, N.Y. – The Bowdoin women's volleyball team picked up two wins in Upstate New York on Saturday afternoon.

The Polar Bears defeated Hamilton 3-1 in a NESCAC match before tipping SUNY Poly 3-1. Bowdoin stands at 13-1 this season.

Hamilton Match Highlights

  • Bowdoin defeated the Continentals by set scores of 25-16, 23-25, 26-24, 25-12.
  • Caroline Flaharty led Bowdoin with 16 kills while also adding 15 digs and five service aces.
  • Ashley Williams (13) and Cori Gray (10) also had double-digit kills for the Polar Bears.
  • Kate Kiser had 48 assists while Lisa Sheldon had 22 digs in the victory.

SUNY Poly Highlights

  • The Polar Bears defeated SUNY Poly by scores of 25-8, 17-25, 25-12, 25-17.
  • Ashley Williams had a team-best 14 kills as ten different Polar Bears got into the kill column in the victory.
  • Lexie Freund had 33 assists and three service aces while Flaharty had six kills, four aces and 11 digs.
