CLINTON, N.Y. – The Bowdoin College women's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 sweep of Hamilton on Sunday afternoon.

The Polar Bears complete an important NESCAC weekend with a pair of league wins and improve to 9-2 this spring.

Match Highlights

  • The Polar Bears swept doubles and didn't lose a set in singles action to shut out the Continentals.
  • Sarah Shadowens/Fleming Landau posted an 8-0 win at #3 doubles while Julia Marks/Devon Wolfe and Izzy Essi/Tasha Christ collected 8-2 wins at the top two spots.
  • In singles play, Bowdoin got tidy 6-0, 6-0 wins from Wolfe at #3, Sasa Jovanovic at #5 and Landau at #6.
  • Marks, Christ and Essi also earned straight-set wins to complete the day for Bowdoin.
