
Rachel Bercovitch fought for the final point to sweep Colby on Wednesday

WATERVILLE, Maine – The Bowdoin women's tennis team returned to the win column with a commanding 9-0 sweep on Colby on Wednesday afternoon.
The Polar Bears (8-9) turn around a four game skid with the sweep. The Mules fall to 8-4 on the year.
Match Highlights
- Tasha Christ and Sasa Jovanovic did not drop a game in an 8-0 win at number three doubles.
- The pairings of Tess Trinka and Izzy Essi at one, as well as Rachel Bercovitch and Viv Daniel at two, won 8-1.
- Essi and Jovanovic both won 8-0, 8-0 at four and six respectively.
- Trinka cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 win at one and Christ went 6-0, 6-1 at two.
- Daniel picked up a 6-2, 6-1 win at five.
- Bercovitch battled for a straight set 7-6, 7-6 win at three.
