BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin senior Alden Drake (Lake Forest, Ill.) and sophomore Sarah Nelson (Concord, Mass.) have been recognized in women's squash postseason awards handed out by the New England Small College Athletic Conference.

The pair both took Second Team All-NESCAC honors in selections announced on Thursday.

Nelson enjoyed a fantastic season playing at the #1 position for the Polar Bears. She earned eight wins on the season, including two wins at CSA Nationals for the Polar Bears, who finished as runners-up in the Walker Cup Division.

Drake also had a excellent campaign, finishing out her career with a seven-win season. Playing primarily at #4 for Bowdoin, she picked up a pair of victories during the NESCAC Championship weekend - including a 3-0 triumph in Bowdoin's 5-4 win over Colby for seventh place in the league. She also picked up a victory in Bowdoin's Walker Cup opener against Wesleyan.
