Squash Team Hosts Inaugural Division III Individual Championship

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College squash teams hosted the inaugural Division III Individual Championship last weekend at the Lubin Center and posted several strong results.

Stephan Danyluk led the way for the men's team, advancing to the semifinals and taking fourth place overall in the A-Division bracket. Danyluk won three matches before falling to Kevin Chen of Williams.

Rachel Barnes was the top performer in the A-Division of the women's bracket, advancing to the quarterfinals with a pair of victories. Randima Ranaweera halted Barnes in the round of 16.

In the B-Division brackets, Chloe Polikoff earned the top finish of the weekend for Bowdoin. Polikoff earned three victories to advance to the finals, where she lost a 3-1 decision to Paige Dahlman of Tufts.

Next up for the Polar Bears will be the men's College Squash Association Team Championships at Harvard from February 14-16.
