BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's soccer team had two players recognized in postseason awards distributed by the New England Small College Athletic Conference on Thursday.
A midfielder, Patterson closed out a sensational career with her third First Team All-NESCAC honor. Starting all 16 matches, she finished tied for the team lead with ten points, including two game-winning goals. She finishes her career with 16 goals and 14 assists in 68 career contests and is the fourth Bowdoin women's soccer player to be named First Team All-NESCAC three times, joining Kendall Cox '05, Ann Zeigler '08 and Ellery Gould '12.
Morgen Gallagher returns to Second Team All-NESCAC, where she was also placed as a first-year, winning NESCAC Rookie of the Year honors in 2016. Gallagher started all 16 matches, scoring four goals, including a game-winner. She has 12 career goals and seven career assists through 68 matches.
Bowdoin reached the NESCAC Quarterfinals this season, ending with a record of 7-7-2.
