Head Coach: Brianne Weaver

2016 Recap (9-6-1): The Polar Bears posted their fifth-straight 9+ win campaign under head coach Brianne Weaver last fall, but just missed out on qualifying for their fifth-consecutive NCAA Tournament. Bowdoin opened the year 6-1-0 but dropped a number of tight contests down the stretch in October, closing the year with a 2-1 loss to Middlebury in the NESCAC Quarterfinals. Of Bowdoin's six losses, four were by a single goal.

2017 Preview: Bowdoin's defense was stellar in 2016, carding a 0.61 goals against average to rank second in the NESCAC. The Polar Bears return their top five scorers, including leading goal-scorer and NESCAC Rookie of the Year Morgen Gallagher and two-way All-New England honoree Nikki Wilson.

The Polar Bears will debut at Babson (Sep. 5) and at Amherst (Sep. 9) before returning home for three-straight key NESCAC home games against Wesleyan (Sep. 16), Williams (Sep. 17) and Middlebury (Sep. 23). Other conference home matches will feature Husson (Oct. 8), Hamilton (Oct. 14) and Colby (Oct. 15).
