BRUNSWICK, Maine - On Tuesday, August 24, Bowdoin graduate Larkin Brown left for Nicaragua, where she will be working for Soccer Without Borders.
She has spent the summer since graduation raising awareness and
money for the program, whose mission is to use soccer as a vehicle
for positive change in the lives of marginalized youth around the
Brown, a 2009 captain for the Polar Bear women's soccer team, will be documenting her travels and work on her blog, http://larkininnicaragua.blogspot.com/. There will also be a link on the front page of the Bowdoin Athletics website to her blog.
