• Five Polar Bears Honored in IWLCA All-Region Selections

    BRUNSWICK, Maine - Five Bowdoin College women's lacrosse players have been honored in All-Region selections announced by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association on Thursday. Bowdoin rookie Elizabeth Clegg and sophomore Ingrid Oelschlager were recognized as First Team Pilgrim Region choices while Katy Dissinger, Becca Austin and Stephanie Collins-Finn were acknowledged as Second Team selections.

Top honors went to three-sport star Lindsay McNamara (Milton, Mass.), who garnered Outstanding Female Athlete, while track & field thrower Luke Fairbanks (Northbridge, Mass.) collected Outstanding Male Athlete recognition.

    BRUSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College sophomore Ingrid Oelschlager (Roanoke, Va.) has been named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference's Second Team in league honors announced on Wednesday. It is the first postseason lacrosse honor for the Phillips Exeter graduate, who has been previously recognized by the conference in field hockey.
