Women's Golf Earns Top-Ten Finish at Mount Holyoke Invitational

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – The Bowdoin College women's golf team took eighth place at the Mount Holyoke Invitational this weekend, capturing an impressive finish at one of the region's top tournaments.

Tournament Highlights

  • In the region's premier tournament, Bowdoin placed eighth overall – the best finish in school history at the tournament – with a two-day score of 678 in the 17-team field.
  • Caroline Farber was the top individual for Bowdoin, firing a two-day score of 82-80-162 to take 27th place overall.
  • Abbie Kaestle (168) finished in 38th, followed by Emme McCabe (172) in 45th.
  • Crystal Chong (49th, 176) and Haley Baldwin (72nd, 212) rounded out the Polar Bear entrants.
