BRUNSWICK, Maine – A trio of Bowdoin softball players have been recognized in All-NESCAC awards handed out by the conference on Thursday.
Sophomore Maddie Rouhana led the NESCAC with 43 RBI this year, batting .361 with 16 doubles, five home runs while striking out just ten times in 119 at-bats.
Cunningham enjoyed a breakout first-year campaign, ranking among the NESCAC leaders in batting average (.391), stolen bases (22) with 31 runs scored. She also boasted a .431 on-base percentage.
Ruby Siltanen was one of the top pitchers in the conference, going 11-3 with a 1.69 ERA and 84 strikeouts in 87 innings pitched. She also batted .300 with three home runs this season for the Polar Bears.
Bowdoin finished another outstanding season with a record of 26-11, finishing second in the NESCAC East Division.
