Head Coach: Frank Pizzo

2017-18 Recap: The Polar Bears recorded another fine season, but just missed out on having a boat at nationals for the first time since 2013. Bowdoin earned first-place finishes at the Callagy Ross Trophy, the Fall Foliage Regatta and the Harpswell Sound Team race in 2017-18.

2018 Preview: Head Coach Frank Pizzo has reason to be excited about returning the Polar Bears to nationals this season thanks to a solid group of returning performers. Matt Kaplan, a 2018 All-NEISA skipper and Louisa Lindgren, a 2017 All-NEISA crew, look to play major roles again for the Polar Bears.  Christian Filter, Matt Safford, and Alden Grimes will be major players on the co-ed side with Claire Havig and Kelsey Slack leading a younger and talented women's team.

2018 Schedule: Bowdoin opens its season this weekend with four regattas across the region. Highlighted events this fall for the Polar Bears include two home regattas: the Barnett Trophy and the Urn Trophy.  The Match Race Championships and the Schell Trophy are the other major events along with all four National Showcase Regattas.
