Men's Track & Field Opens Season Saturday With Bowdoin Invitational

2018 Recap: The Polar Bears enjoyed a fantastic indoor season in 2018, winning a trio of meets, including their second state championship in the last three years. The Polar Bears ran away with the state title, posting the second-highest point total in meet history. Bowdoin sent six athletes to the NCAA, including seniors Liam Nicoll and Brian Greenberg along with the distance medley relay team of Ben Torda, John Kennealy, Conor Donahue and Sean MacDonald.

2019 Preview: Bowdoin returns a load of talent to the squad for the new season and will look for a number of newcomers to make immediate contributions. Returners to watch include Amir Parker (shot put), Alec Ferguson-Hull (distance events), Reid Brawer (long jump), Joseph Staudt (hurdles) and Dylan Welch (800 meters). The Polar Bears will play host to four events this winter, including three in January. Bowdoin is home for invitationals on Jan. 12th, 19th and 26th and will also host an invitational on February 16. The men's Maine State Meet is February 2 at Bates and New England Division III's will be hosted by MIT on February 23.
